Fellow Southend fans

Well fellow southend fans tomorow is the day when once again our beloved southend start there season. I am concerned about the negitivity around the clubs fans and especially on here SZ. I do admit i am one who has got on the ginger ninjas back. I have critisised the defence in pre season.

But the truth is this is what we have, and there a good bunch of players. Lets get behind out team throughout the season and show the same kind of support we see last year at southampton, barnsley, plymouth etc.

This is the club we love, We can do this

Remember talent isnt everything, hard work throughout a football club from the fans to the players can make a sucsessful team

I remember when we had already been promoted and had just kicked off against Bristol City the first mistake made, within about 10 seconds some bloke behind me shouting "oh this is rubbish".

Thats a low tolerance level !

He was probably still Discussing when we lifted the champions trophy...

I am proud to say I have never abused a southend player during a game, it cannot help in any way, and always support whoever is wearing the blue shirt, lets all make an effort tommorow and show our love for our club, I ****ing love you southend

I can also ay I've never abused a Southend player. I've made fun of a fair few though. If you get the hump with the team I find cynical black humour amongst your mates works a treat.

The only manager I've ever abused is Alvin Martin during and after a miserable performance at home to then bottom-placed Hull in the 4th Division.

I like to think I have a high tolerance level but not only did I want him out of a job, I wanted him out of oxygen, something I relayed to him somewhat aggressively at the time. Alas, by the end of the night, only 1 out of 2 had happened.

Perhaps it's something to bear in mind tomorrow when, if we're up against it, we look at how much we've achieved recently.

I remember that night well, in fact SUFCEssex recently discovered a photo that someone took at the time (blown up to A4 size).. i remember when John Main came out and announced that AM was no longer manager we celebrated like we'd scored a goal :D :D
