Some quotes from Pompey's defence...

Sheldon QC: "the other clubs wanted Portsmouth to go the wall and divide the TV money among themselves".

Pompey's QC says in March the PL clubs wanted to "boot out" P'mouth but Richard Scudamore intervened and secured early parachute payment

Also just heard on Twitter that clubs that fail to pay taxes will go under embargo, so even if they do find a way out of this bog, one missed tax payment and they're buggered again.

And so are we for that matter.
