In Britain's best town to retire to!
Again a request this week, this time from my brother, BrettieAngell.

This band hails from Los Angeles and were formed in 1990. Taking influences from a wide-range of metal genres, they have a very unique sound and style almost of their own. With their tight riff/bass drum rhythm's and the unique voice of their vocalist, you certianly know who you're listening too!

This track is taken from what is widely regarded as their finest hour. Demanufacture was released in 1995 and had a huge sound to it and opened FF to a wider audience. This is the official video of the song:

Fear Factory - Replica

Seeing as Scott seems to be otherwise engaged, can I be the first to say......

Metal is Gay

Personally, I'm happy with the overall findings of last week's vote that Emo is totally & utterly gay! :p

Plastic is bisexual. Wood, however, is straighter than Callum Best in a strip club with £8.38 on his credit card.

Probably FF's most well known track and highlights the insane double bass drumming ability of Ray Herrera.

I remember hearing "Soul of a new machine" back in 93 or 94 and being blown away by how original it sounded at the time. "Scapegoat" from that album is IMO their best track, but this is a worthy introduction to the SZ masses.

thanks you (again) for a constructive post.

Never liked Fear Factory, except for their cover of cars. Coal Chamber were good tho. Soilwork, and Soil are most excellent too.
