However, I think Chadded raises a valid point. Shouldn't we be spending our military budget on the airforce rather than non-front line soldiers bothering penguins in the Falklands or holidaying in Cyprus or Germany?

WEll as Falklands is teh last gateway to resupply to the Antarctica and in years to come peopel will propably start mining there , thats a future investment . In Greece their just stopping the Olympians returning and destroying the world (the titans held in Tarturius )
