Breaking News Guess what I heard today....

Went to the '2 Smart 4...' road show today up the Cliffs with my school amongst other 'lively' schools in the Southend area (Shoeburyness, SHSB, Futures etc), and Mr Tilson made an appearance on the stage.

During a question and answer session, one student from my school asked him 'Is there anyone that you've been after recently'. Tilly then replied saying 'We were after Ronaldo, but Man Utd didnt accept the £80,000 that we were offering for him!'.

Another question he was asked was 'Why haven't we won the Premiership yet?', he replies 'the chairman hasn't given us enough money to do that.'

The last question was about when was the new ground going to be finished, and he said it would be in 2 years time.

Interesting....Never thought he'd be after Ronaldo! :p

I heard he pulled out of the bidding for Ronaldo after he found out he couldn't get Kaka, Derek Payne and Garham Bressington to play alongside him.

It's funny you say this, Robin van Persie has said today he's not fussed about pay he just wants trophies, do you reckon £800 a week and a stab at the Johnstone's Paint Trophy will suffice his wants?
