Guilty Secrets

HMMM My Our V+ Box has Lark Rise, Masterchef , Wild at Heart and Waterloo Road all set.

Its the Wife you see, Although after last night WR's appauling portrayal of Child Protection Social Workers I doubt we will be watching that show again !!!

I enjoy a quick five minute glance at 'Strictly Come Dancing'. The combination of the dancing crumpet (mainly the dancers rather than the 'celebrities', though Lisa Snowdon and Rachel Stevens looked the part) and the flimsy outfits is enough to give Rusty Shackle-wood. I can't stand more than a few minutes, because I absolutely loathe Brucie, but a few minutes is generally enough for my purposes.

I love Masterchef.

Has he got enough to get into the next round? This is the biggest day of your life! This dessert is making me giggle.

Plus the excellent drum and bass soundtrack.

Masterchef is quality TV and one day I'll have the cojones to enter!

The only thing I don't like about it is the two guys feeling the need to shout all the time. Can someone tell them to keep it down?

Brucie is actually a very good TV Presenter. I just wish he'd lay off the very poor jokes.

My DVD collection contains the 200-whatever it was Thunderbirds movie.

In my defence, Sophia Myles does look a cracker in it.

I'll happily watch the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie if it's on, as I will the Lindsey Lohan version of The Parent Trap.

Sadly, I have no defence for those two.

If I'm around when its on I love Come Dine With Me! There I said it.

It may be neither cool or good but I just think its brilliant. The general programme is great, that and the commentry makes and awsome programme unlike any other cookery programme.

Agree with that, used to like the old format though with one person per day in a half hour programme. Commentary is great, don't know who does it.

Dave Lamb. Being a student I used to see the More4 version where all five are together, couldn't be botherd watching all off them seperately.

In the individual programmes you got to see more of the **** ups in the prep and of them all taking the **** out of each others homes!

Come Dine With Me is indeed compelling viewing. Like Yorkshire Bambi, I've often watched the back to back episodes on a Sunday and it's addictive stuff.

I like Emmerdale but it is not the same since Jo (Roxanne Pallett) left.

Andy Sugden should have been the one who was killed and dumped in the lake (instead of Shane) for beating her up and making her leave the village.

I don't know if it's a "Guilty" pleasure or not, but if there's only one thing I watch on the telly, it's Grand Designs. I love Kevin McCloud!

I suppose my "guilty" pleasure would be Larkrise to Candelford, which I also enjoy.
Always thought Julia Sawalha was a sort ever since her days in Press Gang...
