Miguel Ángel Álvarez squirmed himself through the central defense line in the 25:th minute, asserting the lead to 2 - 0. The structure of the game started to change as Gambero decided to pull back and meet their opponents in the defensive zone. Fine winger Denny Hayes made one of his many passes from the wing into the middle in the 37:th minute. Miguel Ángel Álvarez went to the air and hit the ball firmly with his forehead for 3 - 0. Jousting win 4-0 away, puts us in 3rd. Have finally signed a fourth playable defender too (though am now in debt).

Birri FC PLayed 5-3-2 & lost 2-0 away due to abismal finishing could have won 3-2 but they couldnt hit a cows backside with a banjo !

Lost 2-1 again

, although not putting my new £195,000 defender in the starting line-up probably didn't help! Still should have won but I am now 6th in my league

. If I don't start playing better relegation is on the cards

As predicted, it's all gone very tits up after a great start to the season. Out of the cup, down to 5th in the League... all a bit depressing.

Still, my cup run did allow me to splash out £98K on a defender who looks as if he could be a bit of a star...

I'm also waiting for my youth team to go from solid to excellent so that I can start getting the players into my side and, if needs be, start flogging them...
