WHAT A DAY!!!!!!!
Thanks very much, I think I'll need all the luck I can get with the old driving!![b said:Quote[/b] (Shrimp in a Kilt @ May 18 2004,23:04)]Happy Birthday, SUFC_Spike, and good luck with the driving lessons![b said:Quote[/b] (SUFC_Spike @ May 18 2004,21:16)]This season, I've been away to:
Doncaster
Oxford
Yeovil
Cheltenham
Orient
Cardiff
I think thats quite good considering I dont drive, am 17 (today incidently!!) and live in the middle of now where!!
Chris
Cardiff and Carlisle, but as these two involved driving a little over 2200 miles, I didn't think the missus would let me go to any more
But can you remember any of the away games tho?!![b said:Quote[/b] (Durera @ May 20 2004,13:52)]Wasn't going to bother with this, but noticed that of the few that have listed them all, we seem to have many in common, so:
(Unlucky?)13 = Orient, Cheltenham, Col Ewe, Cambridge, Oxford, Yeovil, Kiddy, Scunny, Hull, Rochdale, Millennium, Canvey, Northampton
Not bad, considering how under the thumb I am.

Controversial choice, Durera! Never a fan of Bacon myself... too much anger, too violently pornographic (in the classical sense) for my liking. Tate Britain used to have a lot of his stuff, not sure if it's still there or if it's over in the Tate Modern now...[b said:Quote[/b] (Durera @ May 20 2004,14:02)]Tsk, youth of today.

Then again, I am resolutely conservative in my art tastes - give me the Pre-Raphaelites or the Impressionists any day of the week.

Ah, but you see, that's because I'm a big, wistful woolly liberal... hence I love to get all whimsical about the vibrant detail of a Millais, or the ephemeral nuances of a Renoir...[b said:Quote[/b] (Durera @ May 20 2004,14:30)]What you don't like about Bacon is probably what I DO like...

FWIW, I think he's alright. But my tastes are cosmopolitan- Brueghel, Bosch, Goya, Manet and Seurat.
