Injury Updates

Bugger, I've not seen him play yet. I hope it's not as serious as Ben thinks it may be.

Such a shame....the small cameo's I've seen I think he's got the potential to be a decent player for us.

oh FFS! Kiernan now this! Do we ever do a medical?

It was a knee injury suffered in the u23 game against stevenage - not sure the medical process inckudes a crystal ball.
Suspect its ligaments- as its fairly obvious whats been done and its a question of severity.
Normally 3 months or so though surely.

Naturally its an area where we were short anyway leaving really just McLaughlin and knightly.
The new lad can play wide as can Theo- but both better up front and it tends to leave us open defensively when we don't play a specialist wide-man. Hendrie may be an answer, the loan market another but aren't loans long term now? Don't think you can loan some just to cover injury.

So sad for the fellow and wish him a speedy rexovery.

However the injuries we get seems to be going beyond just bad luck - what is going on at the club re conditioning and strengthening of the players?

Gutted for him, his big chance at professional football and he'd looked great when he came on against Doncaster. Hope it turns out not to be as bad as at first thought and wish him well.

If a player gets injured, especially a new signing it’s obviously the managers fault.

CP has a lot to answer for

Can I be the first to say "if PB had signed him" ?

On a serious note though, wishing him a speedy recovery and such a shame as thought he looked good when he came on against Doncaster

It's a shame for him. If we are to look for a winger then the youngster Clark who played for Brentford the other night would be a great shout.

Such a shame this. From the limited time i've seen him in friendlies and Doncaster he looked to have something about him.

got to feel sorry for the lad he came to us with the hope of breaking into full time football And picks up a bad injury playing for the under 23s Ive not seen him play as yet But I hope he makes a full recovery ASAP .

Lets not worry just yet. I know he is a few years older now but Last time we resigned Barratt he was injured in training before his first game. Went on to finish the season as part of the play-off winning team and who can forget his penalty celebration.

Hope the lad makes a quick recovery. Of the players signed in the summer, he was the one I was keenest to see do well
