Todays Echo has the Billericay manager Craig Edwards (dad of the former SUFC Youngster of the same name) saying that Lawson has wasted his career

The Article did say that Lawsons job involved a lot of travelling and he was unable to commit fully to billericays training schedule, where as Maldon were willing to accomodate him.

Maldons new-ish owner is putting in a fair bit of money this season so I reckon he'll be getting a good wage. The guy I'm living with over here in Oz, who is currentley playing in the Perth state league, is more than likely going to Maldon when he returns to the uk in September. They are a club going places.
