I fought this might be of use to Southend fans about former forward and "ledgend" Jeroen Boere! His goals would have been useful over the last few season read on...

Jeroen Boere has to miss an eye


Jeroen Boere’s carreer has ended abruptly after a fight in a Japenese bar. Former Dutch West Ham United striker Boere (31) got injured in a fight in a Tokyo bar where he got a knife in his eye and arm. Boere, now playing for 2nd division Omiya Eagles, got emergency treatment in a Japanese hospital where doctors had to remove one eye. He has to stay in the hospital for at least a month.

Jeroen Boere played in England for West Ham United, Portsmouth, West Bromwich Albion, Crystal Palace and Southend United.

How bad is that. Hopefully he made a full recovery

The Boere story is old news. He was sent the best wishes of the Southend fans and he turned his nose up at us. So he can go and do one. As can you if you keep spelling so badly
