I have been sent this Email from Mrs Boere regarding comments made about her late husband and feel I should show it to you all.
I have read some qoutes regarding the responce jeroen was meant to have made to the southend fans when he lost his eye in japan, jeroen was meant to have called the fans sad aresholes, this is totally untrue. when jeroen lost his eye he was very touched by the responce he got from the southend fans, he kept every e mail and letter that was sent and since his passing i have them all still and will keep to give to our son when he is old enough, when a reporter phoned jeroen in japan he joked about his relationship with the fans but he also sent his sincere gratitude, unfortunatly thats not was printed!! jeroen was very annoyed when he read the article, so i would now like to put things sraight on behalf of jeroen and thatnk everyone again for their kind support, thank you ann boere
