Little Britain to tour nationwide
Little Britain is currently on BBC Three
BBC comedy Little Britain is to go on a three-month tour of the UK, stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams have said.
The 18-date tour will start in Portsmouth on 24 October next year and will end in Cardiff on 16 December.
Characters such as Lou and Andy, Vicky Pollard and "the only gay in the village" Daffyd will all appear.
"We like to be quite naughty and spontaneous, getting the audience involved," said Lucas, who picked up a National TV Award last month.
"In fact, we used to confiscate people's shoes, so beware," he said.
"We started out doing live shows together but we haven't toured the UK since 1997 so we're really looking forward to getting back on stage."
The show is currently showing on BBC Three and will transfer to BBC One next month.
The series has also been nominated for two British comedy awards - best series and best actor for Walliams and Lucas jointly - which take place next month.
The start of the second series of Little Britain last month brought record audience figures for BBC Three, with almost two million people tuning in.
