Linked with Luke Rooney (Swindon), Stephen Gregory (Bournemouth) and Stephen McGinn (Watford). Whether any of these rumours are reliable though is anyone's guess. The latter two rumours made the national media but wouldn't give them too much credibility until the gurning pic on the OS.
 
There's quality out there still unattached - for example on the bench today for Northern Ireland is Sammy Klingan who is a free agent, now that would be a great signing and still only 28 years old - was at Coventry last season, be nice if Freddy could have a word!

Not a rumour, but an example of why we shouldn't panic at this stage of the season

Be shocked if Clingan wasn't way out of our wage budget, and even more shocked if he decided to drop down to L2.
 
Sammy Clingan is a good shout but we probably couldn't afford him. As Tampa Blue says, plenty of quality still available (Lee Bowyer anyone?). Hopefully we'll get at least one central midfielder in and extend Assombalonga's loan.
