Manager Sacking and Appointment Thread

After conceding a record breaking amount of goals in the Premier League for a calendar month (a short one at that). Marcelo Biesla has been sacked.
Indeed.Great man.https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/feb/27/marcelo-bielsa-transformed-leeds-with-decency-humility-and-hard-work

He was briefly Espanyol's manager -many moons ago-took over in the pre-season IIRC and didn't stay in post long enough for an actual game.

Marcelo Biesla reminded me of Ossie Ardilles and his spell at Tottenham, exciting going forward but conceded too many at the back

Great to watch if a neutral, but must be painful as a supporter
The one thing he did was put a smile of all supporters at end of the game

Peter Taylor has departed Welling. Never mind, Peter. If at first you don’t succeed, try try again.
The full story and the Echo post on this is in Ex Shrimpers Forum.

Here is a Stevenage fans view........"I'm not wowed by this appointment. Tisdale hadn't got a tune out of the team though, so not sorry to see him go. But Steve Evans.. Jesus wept".
Stevenage have a bunch of poor players IMO.

Is it his dream job? :Hilarious:
Not exactly. But he’s done well to get another chance in the Football League - which I hate to say it - could be regarded as a step-up from his previous position with a National League side. How he’s done that is a bit of a mystery given his recent CV.

Perhaps Ron gave him an outstanding reference.
