always loved tool, especially Danny Carey who is one of the best and most unique drummers around
 
I used to love Tool, and still listen to a lot of their older stuff today. Aenima is an incredible album from start to finish and each of their music vids are worth checking out for their uniqueness alone, though some are clearly disturbing!!

While I can't fault their musicianship etc, they really are a muso's band and I kinda feel that they are happy making an album every five years - hardly prolific. I also get really bored watching them live as it is almost too perfect, watching the band recreate those soundscapes almost identically to the records themselves.

I don't want to knock Tool too much as they are great, so will leave an example of their strange videos from their first full length album "Undertow":
