Breaking News New Commercial Director

Starting around mid September, Southend United have acquired the services of Danny Macklin who will be filling the role of Commercial Director, a position he has previously held at Essex County Cricket Club.

He is generally thought by most Essex supporters to have done a rather better job than the rest of those people running the Cricket Club, especially on the coaching side!

Why did you change the title of my thread ?

He is most assuredly a "new signing" with the potential to be more beneficial than some of our player signings.

It certainly wasn't misleading, like some, and if I'd wanted to call it "New Commercial Director" I would have done.

Perhaps I should just leave the subject blank in future threads and you can decide what I wanted to call it ? :winking:
