We all would Murkey. But all of that, is frankly very unlikely.

The pain is likely to go on a little longer I am afraid. But, we may start to see a little light at the end of the tunnel today...
Its been a bloody long tunnel like 25 years .Yes maybe his ownership may have started on the right foot .But the decline far outways any good he did .Now ronw every shrimper fan you have let down .Asingle handed destoyed our club .Its time to do the right thing and GO NOW as the song from the moody blues said GO NOW

Sick of seeing other teams fans gunning for our demise on Twitter as if it's our fault the owner is a ****

Especially in the NL, there's this obsession with ex-EFL clubs among fans of teams who have spent limited time or no time in the Football League.
That Torquay fans for you.

Oh I definitely worked out what they were all about on our away trip back in Feb.

You'd think being an ex-EFL club in decline themselves would make them more sympathetic. Apparently it only made them bitter.
I think they're bitter about the unfair advantage we had last season not being able to sign anyone after September, not being able to pay the players or staff and the real fear in March that we would no longer exist.

I saw that the other day, somehow it's an unfair advantage to have your club totally in the mud. If that's true, we should have walked the league 😂

Some crazy mental gymnastics being done there by opposition fans

Of course it’s an advantage!! If other clubs are trying their best to stay within the rules and laws of the game and be a decent club.

The way Ron runs things definitely puts us at an advantage.

Imagine if we paid all the right bills and the people we owe etc, we then wouldn’t be able to spend as much money on player salary and any transfer fees.

It’s absolutey an unfair advantage.

Morning all ...

You know what they say......
Another day, another court appearance!

Everything crossed for a positive outcome.

It was probably an advantage in the summer with recruitment, but once the embargo hit there was no further footballing advantage in my opinion.

How many teams in England play the whole season from October onwards with absolutely no incomings or outgoings? Very few I reckon.

I would argue any advantage we had on the pitch was truly finished by squad fatigue, money concerns and a contract dispute post-January.

Things to look for today

1. The length of the adjournment - this will give us an idea of the expected takeover timeframe. I’m thinking maybe 6 weeks. This would tie in with Ron’s press conference when he mentioned June.

2. Is there a preferred bidder yet? I’m expecting it to just be “a number of bidders”. Ron probably wants to keep them bidding against each other. I’m not expecting any party to be named.

Ron’s bull**** bingo drinking game sponsored by PG Site Services

Two sips for each of

* “advanced talks”
* “concrete offer(s)”
* “a number of” parties wanting to buy the club
* “expressed interest”
* “consortia” or “consortium”
* “instructed leading agents in the field to conduct” a sale

Down your drink for
* “bright future”
* “optimistic”
* “put it behind us/the club”
* celebrity guest appearance from a local MP

Down two drinks if
* he apologises
* one of the buyers accompanies him to Court

Down three drinks if
* PG Site Services tweet
* PG Site Services deletes the tweet

Down four bottles of vodka/lighter fuel
* if ‘Arry Redknapp (or his dog Rosie) is involved

But please drink responsibly and don’t drive

Lots of sympathy for you folks here in Colchester, the vast majority of our fans want you to get through this somehow, only the dick heads want you to fail. Good luck.
