For the avoidance of doubt, a brace is 2 goals in one game, a hat-trick, 3. All competitive games are included. Losing a game means losing - not being knocked out.

From 1920/1 to the present day, who has scored the most braces?
Who has scored more braces? Jeroen Boere or Ben Abbey?
Who was the last person to score a brace for Southend and be on the losing side?
Since 1980/1, who has scored more braces?
Who has scored the most braces, without ever scoring a hat-trick?
After Bill Hick, with 3 games, which 4 players have been on the losing side twice each, despite scoring a brace?
Who has scored the most hat-tricks with seven?
Who has scored four goals in a game the most with two?
Since 1970/1, only five players have scored 4 goals in a game. Name them.
Which player managed the feat of scoring a brace in three successive games?

Good luck.

In no particular order

Billy Hick
Richard Cadette
Billy Best
Jimmy Shankly
Sammy McCrory
David Crown
Brett Angell
Freddy Eastwood
Steve Phillips
Ben Abbey

Stuart Brace got a few braces and at least one hat-trick !

Just remembered Woodrow got 2 versus Daggers in the JPT last season?

No. 3 - PAYNE in the JPT earlier this season - was on the losing side albeit not in 90 minutes....

3. If not Payne then I can't remember the score but think Phillips bagged a couple last year at Exeter... in either a draw or loss?
