Question Orient away tickets

Can I warn everyone who is collecting from Brisbane Road. We excel at screwing up the ticket office, please do all you can to avoid the ticket office.

We had sold 1,300 by last Weds, so to only sell 200 since then seems a bit low. But you cant trust the figures given by the ticket office staff.

On Friday lunch time when I collected my tickets from the Ticket office, they said that they were up to nearly 1500 sold.

By the looks of things we will have between 2200 -3000 on the night which is cracking support.

Does anybody know what our record away support is , not including the mill stad? Maybe chelsea away?

I seem to remember we took a lot to the hammers in the carling cup and also to spurs.

Not sure what we have taken in the league or jpt though, but im guessing the last time we took that many in the jpt was the southern final against col who at layer road.

Think our record away support apart from JPT finals was Spurs away FA cup 3rd round 1936 we took an estimated
10 to 12 thousand.

We only took about 1,000 to layer road as thats all they gave us.

I seem to remember the best part of 6,000 Shrimpers at Sheffield Wednesday. I also remember that we played Bristol City in the First Division (Championship) a few days before in front of 3,000. It was 1-1 and the scorers were Stan Collymore and Andy Cole. I'm not checking that, and it may well be last night's dream, in which case Willy Wonka was also there. Anyway, Sheffield Wednesday...

You got the scoreline correct just we were at home :winking:

It certainly will be an away record for us in the jpt then. Not sure what our record away support is in the league , but last time we were in the championship we certainly took some hefty supports

Ordinary league games, Southampton has to be right up there.

3,200 was our allocation for both occasions....best song..."kay se rah, se rah, whatever will be will be, we're going to Shrewsbury"........Closely followed by "the great escape" going on for approx 15 mins....blinding days(x2) out !!

Think you mean "que sera" :winking:

Update:

Got a call today from the Post Office to say the tickets had turned up after all.

So we can add 2 relieved Shrimpers to the total for tomorrow night.
