Doesn't surprise but did anyone expect different. Our best pairing is clearly Brit and Tomlin and with Barry Corr offering a Plan B, who was PS going to leave out to accomodate Benson ? However I am fully expecting Benson to score against us on the 12th !!!

Barry should save these impersonations for the Christmas Party - not during the season - very unprofessional.

Where ever he goes in League 2, he will score plenty. Even at his age, he is probably a good League 1 striker. It won't be a Neil Harris situation, as Harris was a crock for most of the time spent here. Benson will do the business for whoever gets him. He's fit, he's sharp, a great finisher with feet and head, and is a master of escaping defenders in the penalty area, and being in the right place.

He'll tear it up in that league. Luton have no doubt thrown a lot of money at him. Bigger budgets than some League 1 clubs!

Luton must be serious contenders for promotion with all the cash they've apparently laid out for players. I guess if Crawley and Fleetwood can buy promotion then it might work for them too, and to be honest, they're too big a club not to be in the league really.

Luton and Forest Green are both operating on very large budgets, too be fair to Luton they must generate a lot of money themselves with gates of over 6000.Forest Green are more of a model like Crawley,Fleetwood in buying success.Benson will be a very good signing for Luton i think.

Had to be a money thing, otherwise why would you want to play in the Conference. Looks like Luton are really going for it this season. It's unbelievable that they hav'nt had the squad to get them back in the FL before now bearing in mind their profile and level of support, never mind their history.
