Peter Taylor has parted company with Wycombe after they have not won since August 29th and lie second from bottom.
Must say that I found his comment before playing Southend at Wycombe very strange when he said that he would settle for a point. You should have the attitude that you need to win your home games and maybe settle for a point in some of the aways, but also try to win.

With that type of attitude, It's no wonder they are struggling, apart from being a poor team and ginger goal machine Matt Harold has stopped scoring.

About every three years somewhere or other, he repeats his comment, that his wish is to manage Southend again, no, but thank you for the kind offer Peter.
 
I cant say he took the news to badly as Taylor was at roots hall tonight
 
I don't know, but I go back to the Thorpe Bay incident in which a young girl died, I wonder whether that might be of any significance here? Not wanting to rake over it again, but there were rumours of there being a family connection, just maybe Spud wants to be there for his family now, and you can't possibly criticise him for that.
