Prediction League Update

... god help you all!!

Right. As you all may of seen, Mike is no longer in charge of the Prediction League. I have decided to take over as Lee and Naps need as much help as they can get ...  

I will be setting up a temporary Hotmail address so everyone can send in their predictions. There are some idea's to change the way this is done, but we'll stick with the tried and tested method in the meanwhile whilst i come up with a better way of doing it as getting emails of everyone isn't going to be the easiest way. One option could be to have one continous thread and then we can see what everyone predicts and then gloat like bugger until the next 'guess'.

In the following format :

- Name
- Predicted Score
- Predicted Time of First Goal
- Predicted Southend Scorers
- Predicted Attendance

This is the current top 50. In the meantime, hopefully i can get the rest of the league off Mike and get it updated a.s.a.p and on the site every week.

I'll be setting up the account and then you can all start sending them. And i have a very good idea as a prize at the end of the season ...

To remind you all, you get ...

100 points: Getting it spot on (scoreline and result)
50 points: Getting the result right. E.g. Southend to win 2-1, but win 2-0.
5 points: For having a bash.
25 bonus points: Every correct goalscorer. Getting the time of the 1st goal spot on.

You will get 100 points for being within 50 of the gate total.

Recieved a fair few so far. If your having problems sending it to the Hotmail account, then you can PM me your guesses. We hope to be bringing back the old form which used to be on here before it stopped working and will make everyone's life easier ...

Keep 'em coming in and hopefully the full league table will be up by Tuesday!

Quickly, you need to re-send/send your predictions to my address by 7.40PM. The response has been very encouraging and thanks for your kind words of support as well over the past day or so. You lot seem very optimistic although there is a certain character who reckon's Chester with nick it with 6 mins to go. No names mentioned ... yet!!

Thanks all for the predi's guys and girls. OS: Your's has been accepted, seeing as it was a pretty poor guess ...

Im out this evening and all day tomorrow so it wont be done till Monday afternoon/evening when i would have hopefully remembered how to use a database (from the school days) and get the tabel on the message board, at least, by Monday night and then up on the front page by Thursday knowing Andee (depends on how much he's drunk beforehand

)

I'd suggest you'd try and bulk together the next 4 lot of predictions; Wycombe, Mansfield, R&D and Kiddy as im sure some will have time off work over the x-mas period and wont be able to access a PC.
