Pressure - Carlisle at home ...

What's the point of playing Grant in midfield if he steadfastedly refuses to shoot? We need 3 points and that means goals, too often on Saturday he plays great passes and stands there to admire them, god forbid if he ran over the half-way line. He'd be much better in defence right now.
Think i'd rather have Herd on the left hand side of midfield, he builds attacks and competes well and would give his all, not stand around out wide and sulk. Laurent on the bench, he is definetly an impact player, Macca back in the middle next to Moussa and Scanners out wide right.

Herd has got to be a must for Carlisle if not at the start then coming on as a sub. The reason we don't score many goals is that we don't create enough chances. yes Vernon should have scored with the double strike, but the keeper (who had a good game) did well to narrow the angle and block.

Back to Herd, he offers the chance to launch the ball in the box as good as afree kick or corner. the result is that we double the number of balls launched in the box and therefore the opportunities to score. However i don't believe Tilly has the desire to change tactics.
