Revs....out on loan?

If it frees up some wages to get a decent defender or 2 in will a lot of us really mind though???

Yes... There's no clearer sign of a club in trouble than one that has to loan out one of it's players simply to be able to bring in another defender, especially when our squad is already threadbare.

Also, removing Revell from the attack takes a sufficient dimension from it. We'll have no height whatsoever in the front line and it'll leave Barnard and Walker isolated as the only strikers capable of stringing 2 games together in 1 week.

IF this is true its another sign that this club is in more trouble than people think, how much longer will Tilly stand for it!!!!

This has to be a load of rubbish surely. I like Revell, and i think we need him too. Going to swindon dosent make sense either. They already have a similar player in Paynter. I really hope this isnt true

If this is true, then the club must be in dire straits. At the end of the day, we have got a situation where we have not got a left back (Tilson doesn't see Herd as an option atm it seems), two centre halves (one of which isn't ours) and no left winger. I cant see Tilson choosing to let another player go.

Personally I'd miss his blogs more than his footballing ability. If this were to happen i'd hope we'd replace him with a goalscoring and creative player. I personally hope this is a footballing move as well as a financial one

Be absolutely gutted if this is true. "Against player and management wishes" was posted in the other thread - yet above, says "Revs instigated it".

Hmmmm...

Really cannot see it happening to be honest, but if it does - there can be no excuses, we really need answers.

I dont see the point of releasing Revs to bring in a defender, if that is true then as others have stated, we are so far up **** creek and the paddle is long gone...

No neither can I. It would be putting himself in an impossible position as he could hardly blame results on having a "threadbare squad" as he (rightfully) says we have at the moment having just gone and lost a couple of loanees and let a striker go out on loan to one of our League 1 rivals.

There more I think about this one the less credible it seems to me so I'm not going to lose my rag over it just yet...

Will be a fun place on here at 5pm tomorrow then...

Probably freeing up a bit of space for Eastwood to return.

Doesn't he still have a house in the area?

on the back page of the echo this morn, we are that skint ladies and gents

Very interesting reading. I guess if we are after a fringe premiership defender then his parent club must be willing to pay the wages. A top flight defender must be on more than Revs per week so if his club don't contribute we won't be saving any money which is seemingly the resaon we are shipping Revs out.

And which top flight club would want to send any one here with the seemingly limited squad and therefore, capability of the club to compete for play offs.

What about Dervite last season, we were in the bottom half when he joined us!

Its a bit worrying if the Revs thing is true, are we that skint?
