Breaking News Season Tickets - now on sale

It is divisive, but the only thing I disagree with is the discount for Emergency Services. I believe COSU are being very generous with this substantial discount considering there are no doubt many hard working fans that do not earn near what Emergency Service workers earn and play an equally important role in society. Overall, no complaints with my increase but can understand others maybe feeling that pinch a bit more may not be so pleased. Very interesting to see the cost of maintaining/running Roots Hall for a year.

I qualify as a emergency services worker as I work NHS for a crisis service.

I am definitely not well paid for the work I do and help with some of the most vulnerable people in our local community.

I welcome the discount and will renew

Stupid question but is Blue light card counted as emergency services ?
No annoyingly I have a blue light card,

Thank you for your email and for attaching an image of your Blue Light Card.
Unfortunately, we do not offer a discount for Blue Light Card holders. However, we do offer an Emergency Services discount for the following personnel:
  • Police
  • Fire Services
  • Armed Forces/Veterans
  • NHS staff (Doctor or Nurse with ID badge)
If you qualify under any of the categories above, please send us an image of the relevant ID so we can apply the Emergency Services tag to your account.
Kind regards,

Sarah

I'm a little confused. Last year I bought three on my account. They are all available to purchase for next season on my account too. But I'm sure it stated each ST holder now needs their own account. Someone help please?

A bit random but i had never been in the east prior to the playoff screenings and so had never been in the bars in there, looking at getting a st in the nb but am wondering if we can use those bars before the game or if not can we use the west etc?

I completely disagree with you on the part of the emergency services discount. I also disagree with the part that you believe the emergency services earn a good amount as if you compare it to a city bod that works from home 3 days a week earning over 60k a year working on insurance or finance and then a paramedic or police officer that’s saving people’s lives earning half of that there’s no comparison on who should really be earning more. You also wouldn’t be calling a truck driver or supermarket worker in an emergency!

Not to say that the above people don’t play a vital part in society but they wouldn’t be tackling the same issues that those in the emergency services do and for that I think the discount that they do have is well earned!
Spare a thought though for the dustman/street cleaner on minimum wage doing a great job!!

Then have another think about the Doc on £150k!!!

The dustman/street cleaner may not be emergency services but it was not that long ago we was clapping these folk on our doorsteps!!

5% is not a shock and I think most of us expected it.
I shall as per usual be renewing and I am fortunate enough to be able to purchase a Emergency Service ticket and I am very grateful that the clubs offer us this as we don’t get much else.

I agree with the under 8 ticket (I have one for my nephew who is 5) and I shall be happy to renew at a small cost.

I really do think the club has missed an opportunity here in making the ST accessible to all as if you have a family and don’t qualify for reduction 2 adults and 2 children you are looking at near on 1k outlay which, many people do not have. Why can they not do a payment plan as other clubs do? Maybe this is something that can be discussed at one of the fans forum

Oh and as a NHS employee working front line I can assure you my wages have not increased for the last 3 years so this really does help me

I thought this first period was just for renewals, then the next period is to swap our seats ?
Looking at a swap but they seem to getting snapped up? Whats the grey dot compared to grey dot circled?

Just looked on my account and Ben (son) moved from W block to the NB. His account shows his seat in the NB but he wants to move it to a different row in the NB. How do we do this?
Just don’t renew that season ticket and buy a season ticket in the desired row.

I didn’t want my seat from last year so didn’t renew that and just bought a season ticket in a seat elsewhere. I don’t think it makes any difference.

5% increase is fair enough. Hope it helps the promotion push.
I chose to have it on my Google wallet next season and it's already been delivered by email. Saves me looking for a physical card every home game

According to the offical blurb, when the S/T renewals go off sale on 1 July, there is a period for swopsies before general sale.

The seats of existing season ticket holders will be reserved until Tuesday, July 1.
On July 2, season tickets will be taken off sale for 48 hours to commence a seat swap period, allowing 2025/26 season ticket holders to move into previously reserved seats, before all seats go back on general sale on July 4.
10 June - 1 July: Season Tickets on sale and 24/25 STH seats reserved
2 July: Season tickets off sale for 48 hours during movers period
4 July: Season tickets return to general sale

The only bar you can access with a NB ticket pre match is the Shrimpers bar beneath the East Stand, or the NB container that sell booze, but then you're outside exposed to the elements. You might be able to sneak into the west if the gate is open.

I understand the ticket pricing and the costs involved in running the club, but £25 to watch a National League game as a non-season ticket holder… Steep in my eyes.

The season ticket pricing for 17-22 year olds looks great to catch younger fans though.
£23 for a match day ticket if bought in advance, which I imagine most are.

For those wanting to spread the payment out here’s how you do it yourself at a much cheaper price than Klarna

1. Apply for a credit card with an interest free offer for 12+months and set up a direct debit to pay the minimum each month. You can find offers here https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/best-0-credit-cards/

2. Open a regular savings account account
Saffron currently have one available where you can get 8% interest (max £50 per month), Nationwide have one at 6.5% (max £200 a month) but you can find more options here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6576962/the-top-regular-savers-discussion-thread/p1
You’ll need to pay in 1/12th of the cost each month (so £35 if you’re purchasing one adult ticket).

3. Wait for the credit card to arrive and then purchase the season ticket on your new credit card. Don’t use the credit card for anything else!

4. After 12 months if you’re putting in £35 a month into a regular saver you’ll have £420 in there (plus whatever interest you’ve earned). You can now use this to pay off your credit card in full. You’ll want to make sure you pay it off in full before the introductory offer expires so make a reminder on your phone to do so in good time.
