Shannon Matthews found alive!

When interviewed by police Shannon matthews asked 'have newcastle won yet?' to which the copper replied '**** off you've only been gone a month!'

already done yesterday!!!

When Shannon was rescued, she asked if Newcastle had won a game yet....The copper who saved her replied " you're having a laugh girl, you have only been missing 3 weeks"

In all seriousness, I'm quite disconcerted by the fact that the mother is so accepting of the need for the child to stay in police/social care for now. Surely any mother's natural instinct is to go and cuddle the child, weep uncontrollably and want to get her home as soon as possible. I'm pretty sure that's how I'd react - God forbid. Obviously you don't know what goes on behind closed doors, but as time goes on I'm more and more bewildered by the behaviour of those involved in this case.

I don't think I am completely surprised, it has been reported that she considers that she has twins, two children born separately but by the same father.....
