Should Northerners be allowed on holiday?

I have just come back from a week of sun and fun in Crete. The lads and I had a wicked time except for one slight dampner....The amount of ****ing Northerners that go on cheapo package holidays.

No word of a lie everywhere we went we were surrounded by grim pale tattooed northerns that come from a land where fashion forgot.

Even the hotel pool offered no respite. We had 3 fat **** hungry birds from Huddersfield constantly offering us sexual favours, loads of couples from Leeds and Yorkshire who got up and ten am and drunk cheep greek beer till the pool bar closed and a load of nobhead Geordies blokes who spent most of the week offering eachother out.

I cant help but think there should be southerners only hotels and resorts.

Does anyone else hate seeing Northern tramps on holiday or is it just me?

Yeah see them in Amsterdam all the time...nothing worse than kicking back in a coffee shop when a hoard of burly Yorkshireman coming in and ruin the ambience :finger:

I find myself agreeing, but I suspect they similarly hate sharing their holiday experience with us southeners. I guess the solution is for hotels and resorts to declare themselves either north or south with the other being 100% barred from entering (and also German or English while they're at it!).

A hotel full of package holiday southerners giving it the large for two weeks while dripping with Argos jewellery doesn't really appeal much either.

Yes but this was just a short break for me on the spur of the moment were as I imagine they saved for months for there holiday of a lifetime. :(

I actually agree about northerners on Holiday and how annoying they can be, However i had to vote Good people as my best friend is a Scouser and my Dad is a Geordie.

Or maybe it was just a short break for them also? Most lads holiday's are based on drinking so can't see a problem with getting hammered on cheap booze by the pool.

A lot of them are knobs dave, you really do talk a lot of sense sometimes. I have to unfortunately vote that they are good people. I went on holiday with some northern friends and it was the best fortnight of my life in terms of enjoyment and the laughs we had, and no it wasn't a swinging holiday.

Northern girls take far less effort to pull on holiday. Obviously you have to filter out the ugly and fat ones, but theres usually enough easy northern women to go around, or just one who will go around with everybody. I miss lads holidays.....

I'm with you on this one Dave!

Went to Malia last year (assume when you say Crete, you mean Malia too?!) and it was just full of Northerners. I think whatever country you visit, you should show respect for it, however the majority of the time they completely miss this point. Loud, annoying, arrogant, tattoed thugs is a description fits them the majority of the time!

For me the worse element is from the Leeds/Yorkshire direction. I remember Malia last year where there was a couple of guys from Leeds and they instantly knew how to p*ss off a few of the SZFC Clique members just by opening there mouths. If he hadn't of been 7 times as big as any of the SZFC members I'm pretty sure he would even have got a slap from the most calm of people like Mr Wooly. Scroungers got a bit of a girls temper so that could have exploded at any moment too!! :flamer:

For Flying Scotmans benefit, I actually think that once you cross the border then it's fine again, as I generaly find the Scots on holiday good people. They have manners and although generally louder than Southerners, usually have some respect for the place they are visiting.

That's all well and good but when I learned the piano, at no time did the teacher ever refer to the ebony keys as being "northerners!"

No, us Southerners are the ebony keys... we are the ones that need a bit of melanin in our skins, as the northerners never actually see the sun at all.
