Blind obedience doesn't serve anybody well. The Eaves goal is the best one there. It really is.
Well done Mr. Eaves, amazing ball control and a cracking shot.
I voted for Charlie's goal though, but with my eyes open and an awareness that I wasn't entering into the spirit of the contest because of the realpolitik that a Sunderland player will win due to their larger fan base. And also because I've been a Shrimpers fan for sixty years and that was probably the best goal I've seen scored by a Southend player let alone one so young on debut. In conclusion, I voted with my heart, not my head. Isn't that what being a Shrimpers fan is all about....?
