So how would you line up?

Have we a reserve team game between now and Col Ewe?

The extra 2 and a half days because it is on Sky might make all the difference for Mvoto. Assuming it doesn't:

Mildenhall
Sankofa Francis Barrett Malone
Scannell Christophe Moussa Grant
Paterson Laurent

Subs Mvoto, Herd, O'Keefe, Walker, Freedman

then

Mildenhall
Francis Baldwin Barrett Malone
Scannell Grant Moussa McCormack
Vernon Laurent

Subs Mvoto, Sankofa, Herd, Christophe, O'Keefe, Walker, Paterson

Not entirely enamoured with our wide midfield options. I'd prefer it if Scannell was used as an impact player from the bench (he's helped us come back twice now from 2-0 down when on as a sub), but when he's on he needs to be playing wide-right as he has no left foot. It should be the midfielder who tucks into central midfield to help us there, who should be on the wrong wing, as their instinct is to come inside rather than outside anyway.

Don't suppose many of you will agree with Laurent up front, but I want a solid midfield and he's just not up to it defensively IMHO. I'd also rather he was running at the goal, than down the touchline.

Wasnt part of the reason he played Saturday to give him match practice for Col U ?

Yes, but I don't think it was classified as a particularly successful experiment.

I think partly because he was dumped into a daft 3 centre back tactic.

I think Id rather him in the back four with Francis on the right, but if he isnt fit enough then we have no choice.

So would I.

Playing 3 centre-backs had nothing to do with his horrendous error for the first goal.

On the OS there is a reserve game indicated for Wednesday......ironically, against Col U!

That would be my team. Why do people prefer Malone over Herd when Herd brings so much more to the team?
