The movie of your life is being made.

Choose one band/musician/artist to provide the soundtrack...

Yo La Tengo for me.

Maybe we should expand it. Movie title & actor to play you?

Without having much choice in the matter, it would really have to be Oasis....First Album 94/95, first drunken nights out, about to do GCSE full of hope, promise, attitude..... 96ish, What's the Story - getting grades to go to uni, first lads holidays / girlfriends etc, forming friendships and memories that would last til now, everything falling into place, feeling confident and accomplishing what I wanted......

Then it all went to **** ;)

Pixies.

Although I would discourage them from using the "he was a son of a mother ****er" line from "Nimrod's Son" as that's not really true. Or indeed "he was the son of incestuous union" from the same song. I hope.

Bill Bailey, via his infamous "influence of cockney music on classical music" sketch... seems about right for me.

* * *

Film version? Harry Potter and the Caseroom of Witness Statements, with David Mitchell in the lead role...

:thump:

I can't say too much abouth this for obvious reasons but George Clinton has expressed an interest.
