I keep hearing about players refusing to play?? Not sure if true or speculation as usual, guess we will find out once the teams announced

Our most accurate ITK has stated that he hasn't heard of any 1st team player refusing to play, so we are probably witnessing how unfounded rumour becomes reality far quicker than the truth can emerge.

Mind you, if we still had Dieng or Wordsworth in our side, they might both have decided 'that's for me' after 70 minutes! (Unkind? Yeah, probably, oh well).

Sounds about right

I speak to an unnamed player on a regular basis and there isn't any truth in players refusing to play.

Ok so the man in the know has not mentioned anything on the echo page .So is this more gossip rather than facts 2.30 this afternoon we will know wont we .

Come on everyone, let's get behind the players and staff that have represented our beloved club so impeccably.

Last week, we pulled a goal back and as soon as the players ran back to the halfway line, chants of Martin Out started. How on earth does that help the players? They got back into the game and needed support, especially in these fragile times.

As Maher stated, they need us more than ever. We are united in this with them. Let's be united today.

UTB!

To be fair, there were also Martin Out chants in the build up to the goal. I think we overestimate the impact a few chants about the owner (who isn’t paying them on time) has on the players.

They'd died down for a good while and as soon as the goal went in, they escalated again.

I'm not for one minute saying his treatment of the whole club is in any way comparable to what some fans are chanting but just because a few chants aren't as detrimental to the players as Ron's actions are, doesn't mean they won't affect them.

We are in control of what we do, not what Ron does. I'm simply asking for support in those 90 minutes, just like Maher was asking for this week. Let's face it, chanting 'Ron Out' during a match that he isn't even attending just seems pointless and can affect the people who are actually in attendance.
