Kevin Bond’s 1st Southend United League One Home Team of the 2019/20 season

Special Guest
SUEPA (Southend United Ex-Players Association) welcomes Stuart Parker
On Saturday against Blackpool FC we are delighted to welcome another Southend United Ex-Players Association (SUEPA) guest – Stuart Parker.
Stuart was with us for just 18 months during the mid ‘70’s yet plundered 31 goals in just 74 appearances, finishing leading scorer in the 1976/77 season and scoring some memorable goals. Perhaps what he will be remembered for most are the five goals he scored in the FA Cup as we won our way through to the fifth round of the FA Cup against Derby, including a memorable late winner against Cardiff.
Stuart started his footballing career at Blackpool FC where he still lives today so it is fitting he will be visiting us when we play against his hometown team.
Please be sure to give him a great Roots Hall welcome
