Whilst he enjoys coaching and is proud of the progress Collin has made with him, he still wants to play and feels he can do a job on the pitch. So if he's not going to be playing regularly here, it might be a tough job to keep hold of him.Personally I’d like him to stay, he’s clearly been a positive for Colin and the club itself. From my understanding, if a better offer came along (money/role/higher up the pyramid) then he’d likely take it.
Unfortunately, just like Colin, I suspect DM already has some suitors waiting in the wings.
If he leaves, then it's with my thanks and gratitude, and recognition that certainly as a coach, he is probably some way above our level.
