well doesnt really matter if he wins us promotion...

Doesn't it ? I thought that was the only justification for our dreadful, dull tactics.

Sometimes a fixation on winning saddens me; by far and away the best season of watching Southend we won nothing. It's a sport, it's meant to be enetertaining and, yes, it's nice to win too.

Bilel's problem also lays at the door of PS and to a lesser extent Tara. They both said at the SZ meeting that he couldn't take being clattered when playing up front and wasn't a problem at the back when doing the clattering. So what PS continues playing him in midfield or up front where he is getting clattered, elbowed, needled etc. The solution is to play Bilel at the back move Barker to left back & move Gilbert to a club that needs a dog poo clueless left back. Simples!

To get back to Sturrock - I'm proud of our club for having the courage to take him on - he hasn't let us down. Ok, it's possible to be cynical and claim that we were a basket case as a club and couldn't be choosy but there are still plenty ex-players around who would love to manage. Well done the Blues on the appointment and I'm delighted he's with us.

I reallly do not like all this "washing your dirty linen in public"
Whether the players like or dislike, some things should remain "in-house" or confidental

I agree Tinks....they should not be posting about internal affairs about the club and other players on social network sites.
