safe in the knowledge that the extra capacity will rule out camping overnight to obtain tickets ![b said:Quote[/b] (Xàbia Shrimper @ Dec. 14 2006,10:19)]Oh well, I'll have to learn to live with that.
Anyway, I'm curious. Why do you not support the proposals for a new stadium for Southend United? What do you see that is intrinsically BAD for the football club as a whole that many others don't? I'm not exactly leaping around in glee at the possibility of leaving Roots Hall for it is where I spent much of my life when I was still in the UK. But I appreciate that in this modern age of football we need to move onwards and upwards to survive. You?
CSJ supports the move really, he has said this to me recently..[b said:Quote[/b] (Xàbia Shrimper @ Dec. 14 2006,10:19)]Oh well, I'll have to learn to live with that.

So your denying you said "I've changed my mind and actually agree with the move now" to me a couple of week's back?..[b said:Quote[/b] (CS J @ Dec. 14 2006,11:12)]not at all mush.. not at all[b said:Quote[/b] (Smiffy @ Dec. 14 2006,10:32)]CSJ supports the move really, he has said this to me recently..[b said:Quote[/b] (Xàbia Shrimper @ Dec. 14 2006,10:19)]Oh well, I'll have to learn to live with that.

so yet another thread.. for pros and cons of the new stadium...[b said:Quote[/b] (Xàbia Shrimper @ Dec. 14 2006,11:29)]OK, so why not give us all your reasons as to why you think a move to the stadium is a bad move for Southend United? You are very quick to denounce the proposal but, like most of the detractors, very slow to offer creditable evidence to support your stance. I mean, where are all those people who told us, just after John Main's dismissal, that the club would be out of business within five years? The silence is deafening. Or have they simply moved onto the stadium proposal as their latest declaration of doom and gloom for Southend United?
Forgot to post this last weekend![b said:Quote[/b] (glasgowsufc @ Dec. 12 2006,09:00)]Scriv, hopefully ther club are on the ball with this but (assuming FL rules permit it) would it not make a lot of sense to get the boys to warm up at Luton with "Support The Stadium" t-shirts over their usual warm-up kit?
