Only a minimum of 3 and a half months of embargo then, cracking, thanks for the extraordinary leadership Ron
Wouldn't be surprised if it gets adjourned again until sometime in February/March. Also extending the embargo.

Without bridging finance it just isn't getting paid. Same as the poor staff.

Quote Ron 1st Oct: "Bridging finance has been agreed, but has not yet been completed. Once it has (weeks not months) we will discharge the HMRC debt in full"

We are now approaching 10 weeks since that statement... 🤡 🤥

Bottom line is he is clearly struggling to get the loan and as a result the club and it's staff are suffering.

Well...we're now into "months", so he's misled us yet again. Just his usual ambiguous comments to try to appease everyone

Latest regime change:

  • Termination of appointment of Patrick Carl Van Der Waag as a secretary on 2022-12-02

"The Companies Act imposes a broad variety of duties on the company secretary, accompanied by around 150 separate criminal offences. A company secretary is responsible for ensuring the smooth administration of the company’s governance.

Company Secretaries assume responsibility for compliance with corporate governance and other financial and legal regulations
."

Strange. Who wouldn't want to do that !!!!

We have everyone’s sudden best mate Karl waiting to become new owner
Personally I don’t know enough about the offer or the man but I suppose change has to start somewhere.

If it involves a well run entity with clean regular reliable cash flows and lead by people with the best interests of the club at heart then I’d be ok with that.

Wonder what is behind this. Rat deserting sinking ship or man of principle who couldn't take any more of the chairman's antics?

I don't know much about him, but could it get any worse ?
That's just it, we don't know. I have no doubt that Karl cares for the Club, but it's more about the investors that underpin him and what their aims and motives are. I have no view on that one as I don't know enough about his 'bid'. That said, Ron has left us up said creek without said paddle so it could be argued that it may be better.;
