Breaking News Support The Team Not The Regime! New update 24/11

I’ve read this post several times now & I appreciate this reply will seem combative, but they’re genuine questions that I cannot for the life of me, work out.

1. You have repeatedly given the impression you are - either directly or indirectly - associated with a sponsor of this football club, but when you’ve been asked to reveal who that is, you’ve refused. An anonymous sponsor always seems odd to me. I’d have thought someone paying for sponsorship would normally want their name/business to be highlighted. Strange.

2. You’re admittedly pushing to hurt the football club. Not the man behind it. They are two separate entities. The worst case scenario is that the club gets dragged over the coals, making the current plight even more unmanageable and eventually leads to it folding. You do realise that Ron would still win (and impressively more so) in that situation, because he would still hold all the land. The fans, as always, would be the ones who suffer, along with people - like sponsors for example - who’ll have lost money investing in the club

3. What will you/your associates gain from Ron/The Club suffering? If, as you claim, you are a sponsor, then as long as you’re paid your money and on time, what right do you have to suggest how he runs his business? Let alone seek out formal routes of having it sanctioned and punished. If you are a sponsor and you haven’t been paid, you have my sympathies & I’d suggest the legal route for reclaiming monies owed would be the way forward, not chasing a Football Division and asking them to do something, when It’s not their job to.

4. If you’re complaining to the League because of the abhorrent treatment of Blues Staff, then why not just pull your sponsorship? Surely that would have bigger and wider reaching repercussions? If it’s not possible, why not just walk away and be done with it when the contract ends?

Lastly, I think I have asked you before, but I don’t think you ever answered me, so apologies if I missed it… Have you or any of your associates, either directly or indirectly, campaigned against the FF development, on the basis that it didn’t contain enough affordable housing?
There's a very good chance that these questions will go into the 'Too Hard' corner @GBJ.

I’m fairly certain Ghost of C.F is an anti-SUFC and anti-FF troll. I have seen somebody on twitter spouting similar **** (minus the sponsor bit), who clearly has a bee in their bonnet about the FF development and wants SUFC to fail. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same person.

It is within their remit . We support the team but not the regime . Some form of censure is necessary here - if nothing happens the non-payment of staff wages will just go on and on. It is not sensible to be easy-going where Ron is concerned . At some point you do need to confront wrong-doing and protect the interests of our excellent club staff .
Once again you fail to answer my question.

You are Robbie Cowling and I claim my £5!

Donated, I can understand a few fans who have a problem with this as the ......fill in the blanks still owns the club and we are doing his job for him but seeing other clubs chipping in is great to see. We have a friend in the office who has not been paid, how can this be allowed to carry on, there should be rules that stop this from happening, by not hurting the club just the ....... Fill in the blanks who has caused all this crap!

I really don’t know why you’re still bothering with this. Surely you have clocked by now that we all know you are not what you claim to be and what your real agenda is. If you really have taken the trouble to write to the NL (for what it’s worth I believe you on that bit, given your prodigious record with the Echo - in terms of quantity of letters, if not in achieving anything), then I’m sure that when they have stopped having a right good laugh they will have filed your report on the cistern in trap 2 where it will eventually prove useful.

I don’t know if it’s worth someone contacting Phil bigwood at the BBC to try and get this on their sports page

Phil is the executive producer of match of the day and a lifelong shrimper

Great post. Personally I want this sponsor's group to be transparent as this seems to be the in thing. I want to know their companies so I can make my decision to never buy their products or services. Truth is this poster is clearly a troll, there is no sponsor's group and he is not and never will be a Southend United fan.

I'm very certain that Ghost of C.F is not that person. He is in fact a nice, kindly spirit who believes there should be justice for club staff who do not get their wages in full and on time. Unfortunately, he does not get on very well with the moderators on here who take it in turns to find something unpleasant to say about him and seem to think he is not a truthful person. There is a big problem with the Fossetts development - it is not sensible to build a 3-sided stadium with no main stand in Phase 1 . That is the reason why there needs to be a rethink here - sponsors want the project to be viable and so succeed rather than to fail. We don't think Ron should own the stadium either -it is clearly not in the best interest of the club.

They are mad they won’t get it back and neither with the trust in the time frame.
Yup, just saddled the club with another 80k loan its not going to repay.

Really starting to wonder why the National League arent really looking into this now (maybe they are). Obviously dont want the club harmed as that would be awful - but how they allowing an owner to run the club at a massive loss, default on staff and companies yet still compete on level terms with other clubs that try to run even.

Dont know, obviously I really dont understand it - but cant see how the NL turn a blind eye to this?
