"When I was a Desert Rat, you know !"

Derek Guyler, the inspiration for Uncle Albert in OFAH do you think? Loved Please Sir and the Fenn Street Gang.

Btw, am assuming "tonite" is now last night and no longer tonite?

Saw Terry Alderton last & he was on pretty good form. Some of his material was a little hit & miss, but on the whole was superb,

Lots of SUFC references & took the pee out of the Spammers sat in the audience, much to the delight of the Shrimpers there! Lots of local jokes at the expense of Pitsea, Southminster, Burnham & Woodham, which made it special! I must have been in the Shrimpers section downstairs at the Palace Theatre, as there were a few around me near the back.

All in all, well worth the £12.50. Terry, if you're reading this, don't leave it so long to come back to Southend!
