First time in the new lounge against Barnsley. I would thoroughly recommend it. All eight of our party said they we go again. Three course dinner that was better than the blues lounge and a half bottle of wine per person.

I know the boxes can be a bit sterile but with 30 people in the circle lounge you get a good atmosphere. The benefits over the blues lounge is that you don't have to fight your way in and out of your seat. You can watch the build up etc whilst having dinner.

Would be ideal for a local football team day out etc. Ours was an end of season cricket jolly up. We are now planning something bigger next season (if were still here) maybe have the whole lounge for a end of season presentation day.
You regulars should treat yourself, you can even upgrade your season ticket. Perfect for a birthday treat or wedding reception:winking:

Yes forgot to mention the quiz with the excellent Dave Crown. We scored 18/20 but lost on a tie-break....How many career goals has Deegan scored...NO cheating

John White popped in after the game.....which was nice.

... I concur completely.

Great fella. Easy to chat too. Always welcoming and has the club at heart.

The club are lucky to have him around on matchdays. Definitely someone you'd want to re-book with for another match.

Met David Crown at the Roy McDonough Pie and Pint night, thoroughly nice bloke and I might add, one of the best forwards we have ever had.

Yes,everyone seems to be agreed upon what a great bloke he is (like Frankie Banks before him ) but he doesn't quite make the top 6 strikers,in my time.......in ascending order :Cadette,Best,McCrory,Eastwood,Firmani,Collymore-this might provoke some discussion........

... I'll let him know when I speak to him next! :winking::smile:

Can we put him down for 7th, though?

Dave crown is great. Blues lounge , in the stand , going to Wembley. Always remembers a face.. Never expect him to remember a name. Top bloke

8th perhaps?- Brett Angell did really well when bought to replace him at a higher level!

Too true, Billy Best ahead of Cadette by a mile .
