Elstree Blue raises the subject of the consortium on the Simon Francis thread and suggests that we should "find out more, give them a chance and question"

Does this indicate that this consortium is still prepared to invest in the future of SUFC given the chance.

Are you a member of the consortium EB as you say that they "already have a huge amount of money of their own"

If you not a member then you seem extremely well connected and hopefully you can use your influence to persuade the members to let the supporters know who they are and explain to us their vision of the way forward for the future of our Club during what many see as dark days at the moment.

The consortium were a group of Southend fans who are very rich. They said they made a bid because they wanted to stop the club going into administration and losing 10 points. Now that the situation has been dealt with they may not be interested in making a bid but you never know.
