All,
I'm sure most of you will have worked out now by the cryptic messages left by Mike, Lee and Napper today that I have parted company with the ShrimperZone team (and the Shrimpers Trust).
As such Mike (Javea Shrimper), Lee (Leeboy) and Napster (Paul), will be taking over the running of ShrimperZone. I'm sure they will do an excellent job.
Not because of any falling outs but because I today have started work at our beloved Southend United. I've taken up the position as website manager and programme editor which means from a personal respect there would have been a conflict of interest (and I wouldn't have wanted to be doing what I do all day at work when I get home, I wonder if a porn star feels the same?).
Anyway, I hope that I can turn the official web site and programme into a success and something that you will all use as your first stop for info. I'll be hoping over the next few weeks to gather some of your ideas on what you'd like to see on your official site and in next seasons programme, and I hope you'll participate so we can improve things.
Anyway, I just like to say it's been great working on ShrimperZone for the last three years and I hope you guys won't give me too much abuse on here and on match days.
All the best,
Dave
