The Sausage Sandwich Game

Ooh saucy.

OBL, no,no,no,no,no! It is sacrilege to eat a Cumberland sausage with ANY condiment whatsoever. The only people to put condiments on them are the sort of peasants who drink their ale at anything less than room temperature

Had a Cumberland sausage sandwich in the Lake district last week, it was served with gravy in the sandwich. Certainly worked for me (though I'd never generally use a sauce with one myself)

Incidentally, whilst on the subject of good sausages, I remember vaguely having some from a Gt Yarmouth butchers, described as "Louisiana" sausages. It was the 70s, so doubt you can still get them, but they were bloody nice!

and to think you have a go at me for copying threads already in existence!

I threw this out there a while back! I don't have the time to search for the link but MK you have disappointed me! :'(
