Still Loves Emma Bunton. Roy McDonough is God!
Come on then.

Forget the off the field shenanigans. Forgot the lack of 3 or 4 new names. Forget the infighting. Bilel is here. Granty is here. Ferdinand is here. Philips is fit. We are unbeaten in a few. Relegation is a distant worry.

It's a great time to be a Shrimper. The P or PO words are a little bit ambitious but let's have a day of total positivity.

Woohoooooooooooooooo !

Morning ORM
That's what we need, a bit of positive thought for the day. I'll echo your sentiments .Up the Shrimpers :thumbsup:

Yes, this is a good idea - let's start by looking at this webpage http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D3/aform.html
And add to that the fact that in 2 weeks the U18s will be playing at Anfield
and then maybe fight away those lurking doubts about finance, stadium (over which we have no control) at least for a while - could always have a moratorium on negative comments while we keep winning?

So we are the in form team in L2, that's great news, hopefully we can keep the run going tonight.

Yep, good stuff....I can name a few who won't be echoing that this morning though!

Yes, hanging onto Grant & Mohsni feels like two new signings. I've been fully expecting them to be holding the scarves of some other team aloft for quite some time now.

Let's not forget we have brought two players in during the window Sawyer & Comminges, and the loan window opens soon - Akpo Sodje?

Plus Matt Phillips is finally coming back from injury & the emergence of Kane Ferdinand from da yoots. Things are looking up at the Hall.

Akpo has gone to Hibs....keep up!!!:raspberry:

Sodje signed at Hibs but I have faith in PS to find a striker somewhere.

I'm actually really happy with the transfer window. Mainly because I was sure we would lose granty and possibly bilel. We still have both until the end of the season so I'm very happy with this. As I said at the beginning of Jan I would have liked another winger but at least we have sawyer who could do a job there if asked to. I think we can really push on and hopefully sneak a play-off spot.

Still think a couple of loanees would include a right sided attacking midfielder and a sytiker- would re-enforce what I think is now a preferred 4-3-3 formation with a holding midfielder in front of the back four. If so then the icing on the cake if they are the right heads

Fantastic thread. Nice to hear some optimism on here.

I agree that all is currently well at the Blues and life being a Southend United fan is becoming more and more fun again.

With Phillips, Sawyer, Comminges (who may actually maybe perhaps be quite good when fit again) all chomping on the bit for a chance to impress, we may actually have a pretty competitive squad too.

No all we need is Soares to hit some form, with Blues continuing their good form, and we can all have a feeling-good party.

Up the Blues!

Absolutely love this!

On Saturday I felt really proud to be a shrimper, I always will be proud! But to hear 1,000+ of us in full voice a lot of the time, made me feel actual pride again!

Hopefully a good crowd tonight, and a nice atmosphere from all sides of the ground again!

EEE III EEE III EEE III OOO....

Thought crowd was excellent tonight but quite a few fans were getting annoyed with a fan in the West who continued to stand up and go on about Sturrock.
I understand that supporters support certain players when getting booed by own crowd but this was really extreme.
At one stage he took it so far there must of been 7 or 8 fans wanting to give him a slap.

And so the positive thread enters Day 2 only this time with bells on

And ryan hall to add to the list, not too far to having a team that could compete in league 1 if we were to go up, oops sorry, positive thread WHEN we go up.
