So young Wabo is maybe not going to be a first team fixture this season.

only a cpl of these lads are going to spain, think that shows where injuries and/or our transfer targets lay.. also shows we have a lot of strikers ahead of Norm, so he reall will need to take his chance when he gets a call up due to injuries ets

The u23s remain unbeaten, dispatching Aveley 3-1 with 2 goals from Isaac Hutchison and one from Emile Acquah.

Anyone have/seen a match report?

The u23s won 4-2 v Brentwood Town on Saturday

Bexon, Howard (Osimeh 80), Humphreys, Bedford, Curran, Pianim, Kinali, Phillips (Rush 86), Acquah, Wabo (Merah 66), Hutchinson.

Goals from Pianim, Wabo, Phillips (2)

It must be very frustrating for Norman W 21 years old scoring regulary for the U23s doesnt seem to be part of Chrissy Powells !st team plans at the moment. Not a youngster anymore.

We seem to collect players like this. Reminds me of Jason Williams who would do well in reserves and out on loan, but never quite had enough to break through to the first team.

4-2 win v Lowestoft (A)

Bexon, Howard, Curran, Kyprianou, Humphreys, Bedford, Batlokwa, Gard, Hutchinson, Wabo, Marah

Goals: Marah (2), Wabo and Gard

Very strange that Ba didn't feature anywhere over the weekend... Possible loan move somewhere?

Was back today.

Stevenage L2-1. Bishop, Bwomono, Curran, Pianim, Hendrie, Barratt, Klass, Gard, Batlokwa, Ba, Wabo

The goal apparently came from sub Acquah

v Oxford (H), Premier League Cup

Bishop, Howard, Clifford, Pianim, Curran, Coutts, Batlokwa, Hutchinson, Ba, Wabo, Gard.

Hutchinson gets hat-trick in todays game.
Blues line up like this: Bishop, Humphreys, Curran, Coutts, Hendrie, Kinali, Gard, Klass, Batlokwa, Hutchinson, Wabo.

Barnet score penalty.

Blues get a goal back. Batlokwa latches onto a poor pass from a Barnet defender and advances into the left hand side of the penalty area before netting with a controlled left footed shot.

Barnet double their lead when a low shot deflects into the path of their striker who sends a low, left footed shot into the bottom right hand corner of the net. Poor defending from Blues.

Keeper saves well to stop Klass making it 2-2

Bishop tips a header over the crossbar

3-1 Barnet. A right wing cross finds the striker at the near post. He gets in ahead of Curran and nets with a neatly controlled half volley from close range. No chance for Bishop.

Blues 2, Barnet 3. Gard plays in Hendrie down the left hand side. His cross is deflected towards his own goal by a defender which enables Hutchinson to net from close range.

What a goal. Hutchinson collects a pass from Humphreys and fires a fantastic effort into the top left hand corner of the net. It’s now 3-3.

All getting a bit heated now. A Barnet player and Klass clash. The Barnet player picks the ball up and throws it straight into Klass’ face. The Barnet player is red carded. Klass gets a yellow card.

Kinali booked for stopping Barnet taking a free kick

Half time: Blues 3, Barnet 3

Tom Clifford has replaced Stephen Hendrie and Rob Howard has replaced Michael Klass.

Blues take the lead for the first time. Wabo does well to work some space for himself and sends a well struck left footed shot into the bottom right hand corner of the net.

Bishop does well to tip a 25 yard free kick around the left post.

Acquah on for Batlokwa

Hutchinson has a long range effort tipped wide of the right post.

Blues make it 5-3 as Hutchinson completes his hat trick with a low, left footed shot following a right wing cross from Howard.

Hutchinson has gone off and Blues haven’t brought anyone on. It’s 10 v 10.

6-3 Blues. Acquah works his way onto the score sheet with a well taken individual effort.

Full time: Blues win an eventful game against Barnet 6-3.
