Talented young midfielder Scott Warner has signed a new one-year deal with Third Division outfit Rochdale.

Rochdale have completed the signing of Port Vale midfielder Neil Brisco. The 26-year-old becomes manager Steve Parkin's first summer signing after opting to drop down a division for a two-year deal.

Sc**thorpe manager Brian Laws has signed Hull City goalkeeper Paul Musslewhite and Oxford defender Andy Crosby. Musslewhite rejoins the club on a free transfer having been handed his senior breakthrough at Glanford Park.

Swansea City
Swansea have opened talks with Bristol Rovers defender Kevin Austin - who is out of contract at The Memorial Stadium.

Axed Oxford United centre back Matt Bound could be set for a shock move back to his old club Swansea. Swans boss Kenny Jackett is understood to have had talks with the 31-year-old defender, who was released by Oxford last month.

Boss Kenny Jackett has revealed that he has failed in an attempt to sign Stoke City goalkeeper Neil Cutler. Cutler spent two months on loan with the Swans the season before last and had verbally agreed to a three-year deal to stay at the Vetch. But the 27-year-old shot-stopper contacted Jackett earlier this week asking for more money.

Yeovil Town
Yeovil have agreed terms with Adrian Caceres, who is currently playing for Australian National Soccer League champions Perth Glory. The 22-year-old Argentinian-born left winger was a former Southampton trainee and also had spells in England with Brentford and Hull City.
