I think friday night games are good fun but nothing beats a saturday afternoon match. Friday nights are good because they don't happen very often in my eyes. If Southend played all their home matches on friday nights I feel the novelty would soon wear off.

Saturday afternoon wins it for me because I can either watch Soccer Am or have a lie in. Wake up and have a few rounds of bacon sandwiches. Leave at bout 12 to get to the pub nice and early and have a few little beers. Watch the game. Go home, have a chinese and go out on the hit and miss it either celebrate or comisarate following the result. And I have to work friday nights.
