I have submitted my application too. The way I see it, I'll beat Tilly to the job so he stays here. My experience of leading Southend to the Quadruple on every FM since 01/02 far outweighs any actual experience Tilson may have. He couldn't even get us to stay in the Championship.

Yawwwn all conjecture and rumour. Doesnt sound like Tilly wants out when he said he never considered quitting. Did he 'nearly' get the Norwich and Brighton jobs- nobody knows except Steve Tilson and those around him which include nobody on this board!

Not quite true, but I agree with the rest of your post. From what I can see, this is all based on something which might or might not have appeared in the MK local rag.

I can only confirm that he has made the application.

Time to fess up. I submitted an application in the name of Mr S.Tilson.
I've been wanting a move back down south for a while and this seemed like the ideal opportunity. I've heard the MK chairman is a drug-addled old hippy who wouldn't recognise Tilly if he tripped over him so I think I'm in with a good chance.
