Post-Match Thread and Ratings u23s v Canvey 3/8/21

Sounds like Akinola is doing ok tonight, we’d be mad not to play him in the national league.

By the texts it sounds pretty one-sided...........yet it's still only 0-1. With Simeon playing most of the game I don't suppose he's going to be involved tomorrow night? He's just come off after 60mins.

Back in the day we used to play Saturday afternoon, get drunk Saturday night then play hungover Sunday morning. Footballers don't know they are born ???

Blimey. This feels like a mistake but I guess PB knows what he's doing.

Yet another pre season loss. This club has got to get out of this losing mentality. Yes I know it was only a U23 team but nobody at the club seems to care. Whichever team we put out, we must be aiming to win games, but there seems to be a lot of apathy as to what the result will be. We have been consistently losing more games than winning for the past three seasons and this must change.

The club seem to have a, it will be alright on the night type attitude to the start of season. The new campaign is not that far away and no one seems to have a clue what our best team is ?

Hope I am wrong but nothing seems to have changed from other pre seasons when we had poor results and led to us struggling from the first game.
