Week 4 - The Cup

Davros was due to play me YB, but obviously cant, so im sure he would accept your challenge!

Kev

Accepted Nick's challenge.

I'll be putting out mediocre bowling and batting so will be thrashed!

Thru to the last 64! Lovely jubbley. Seems the oppo didn't want to be in the hunt anymore which seems a bit odd tbh!

Kev

Mine played a full team but obviously didn't fancy my cracked pitch much. Wickets all round the team in a good all round performance. Roll on the draw!

I have Super Snowshot who currently reside 6th in their Level 2 group. Looks like i could have a chance. They only have 16 players and some of their players's fitness is shot to pieces.

My opponent, Aimless Wanderers is sitting 3rd in II.2. Squad wise they look stronger but they also have fitness issues and fielded a weakened team today. I reckon I could be through again!

Talking of fitness issues, check out my FC opponent this week!

This my FC oppo's top 7 players. I will be resting the usual suspects for Friday's and Sunday's game but hopefully i should still be able to get something from the game! Will have a weakened bowling attack but a fairly normal top order!

Kev

As you all may have guessed, my cup dreams are in tatters after losing by 7 wickets. MrB, however, was lucky enough to play a bunch of stiffs and won by alot!

Kev

Very surprised but not complaining!

My opponent in the last 32 has already declared the game 'unwinnable' on sledging. It should be a close one but hopefully he'll play his reserves!!

Bring it on, only two players at energetic with the rest at sublime. Might have to give Kev the Blackberry tomorrow so he can send me reports from the bench.... :D

3 wicket defeat and I'm out. Annoyed that with 9 wickets in hand going into the last 10 that we failed to add many runs.

Oh well, can get some SZ cup games in now!

Bad luck, you just needed to break that 3rd wicket partnership earlier.

How far did you get in the end?

That was the last 32 today. Unlucky B. After 40 overs, you should have prob got 250 there but losing 3 in an over never helps! :(

I won my game today against your oppo from Friday, so that will take me off the bottom! :D
